I would like to introduce my assistant.....

Gertrude Van Dressform.  We call her "Gertie".  She is such a big help in my sewing room, already pulling her hefty weight around here.  We have so much in common, her measurements, like mine, go up and down....right now she has the EXACT same measurements as I do.  We can share all our clothes.  She stands very still, well somewhat, so I can fit whatever I am making to hers and my measurements.

She does, however, stand around all day with a stick up her a**.

Right now, we are working on finally finishing the "Walk-a-Way" dress.
