More Hanukkah Celebrating and a "new" old skirt

We celebrated the 3rd night of Hanukkah / Shabbat last night with a wonderful meal.  One of our favorites and VERY easy to prepare is Parm Encrusted Talapia, Garlic Seasoned Green Beans, Caesar Salad, Fresh Pineapple, and Challah.  Later we had fresh baked Chocolate Chip Cookies for dessert.  Not a Kimkins friendly meal and boy did my "new" skirt feel the bulk.  Back on Kimkins FULL force Monday.  I am ready...

I took advantage of the occasion and brought out all of my new Pyrex.  I used the casserole dish to serve the fish, the mixing bowls for green beans, salad, and pineapple.

Before I lit the Shabat candles, David lit the Menorah.

Here I am modeling my new Hanukkah Apron.  David gave it to me on the first night of Hanukkah along with the roses in the background.

Here is David opening one of his Hanukkah gifts, a Kosher Clock.  I forgot to give it to him before I lit our candles but he started "messing with it" and setting it up....the very last thing the instructions said was NOT to push the buttons on Shabbat.  OOOppps.

I LOVE this skirt.  The plaid from the bottom goes up to the waist but it "hidden" in the pleats.  I do not know what "era" it is from but the label is very old fashioned and the sizing is "off" by today's standards...I really do not care, I just LOVE it.

More to come....

Tiffany
